I had this book when I was a child. Of course, I cut all the dolls and destroyed over time, so when I saw that this book was still available, I have in my collection that I’m an adult now added Fashionista! It is as beautiful as I remembered, and Tom Tierney is very talented. I will not cut the dolls! I have several of his books and his sentimental, it’s my favorite. Rating: 5.5

I do not know the background, Tom Tierney, but I know that the Dover pounds would be much less interesting if it were not for her paper doll books for adults. Meticulously researched and beautifully drawn, enjoy these “toys bring” adult costume and fashion fan’s heart and mind. Bravo Tom! May he live to create many works of art. Rating: 5.5

The sophistication and elegance of the 1930-s is expressed nicely by the work of Tom Tierney. The dolls and costumes are very detailed. You can change the style seen flowing robes of soft early thirties to the sharp increase in couture and extravagance of the late trente.M. Tierney deliberately dolls such as Gloria Swanson and Joan Crawford (with blonde hair?), The look was an excellent idea because it gives more authenticity to the look of the doll. But the popularity of Gloria Swanson was already on the downhill now, so I think that would have been another planet better suited to have represented the early thirties. Rating: 5.5
