Product Description & Pret-A-Porter is an investigation currently being written, excellently illustrated fashion 250 years. The Gemeente Museum in The Hague has a new home at their disposal for its impressive collection of costumes. The collection includes about 40,000 pieces and covers the period from the sixteenth century to today. It contains Western clothes, he was raised in the Netherlands but also internationally known fashion and the matching accessories and jewelry. On the basis of about forty of the best pieces from his private collection, the book describes the development of international fashion. The book contains many contemporary designers such as Chanel, Dior, Jean Paul Gaultier, Givenchy, Karl Lagerfeld, Issey Miyake, Yves Saint Laurent.

    It was a wonderful book, great photography, lots of information. One can say that the author put a lot of research in the book. I would recommend any really serious fashion: students of fashion designer looking for inspiration / info, etc. Rating: 5.5
